1. Principal, Pipeline Engineer – Based in KLCC
QUALIFICATION
• BSC in Mechanical or Pipeline Engineering or equivalent or other Engineering certification with extensive experience in pipeline engineering roles.
EXPERIENCE
• 12+ years’
experience in pipeline systems engineering, inclusive of project execution involvement during construction, installation and commissioning.
• Previous work experience in deep-water field development (particularly of gas fields) is considered an advantage, as is direct involvement in the specific pipeline solutions being considered at feasibility.
• Thorough knowledge of the pipeline engineering (both conceptual and detailed engineering,) industry standards, practices, procedures, codes, standards, and regulations (encompassing engineering, safety &environmental, construction and installation)
• Good communication skills, mentoring experience, and proactive commitment to HSE.
2. Operations HSE Engineer – Based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
QUALIFICATION
• Minimum bachelor degree or diploma in any engineering discipline or Environmental Science.
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 7 years working experience in the Oil and Gas industries in similar capacity.
• Knowledgeable in industrial safety and local statutory requirements.
• Possessing NIOSH certificate would be an added value.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team and be able to make presentations.
• Must be computer literate and possess the basic knowledge on common programmes such as WORD, Excel, Powerpoint.
• Must be fully conversant in the English language both orally and verbally.
3. LEGAL COUNSEL – Based in KLCC
Position Summary
Responsible for providing professional legal advice and efficient legal services to KPOC’s projects and operations in Kebabangan Cluster Fields, Offshore Sabah with the objective of protecting legal and commercial interests of the Company as well as the Company’s business needs.
Experience:
Minimum of 6 years post qualifying experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry; either in a major legal practice or an established commercial organisation
Possess experience in corporate and commercial matters including preparation/drafting of legal documentation connected with such work. Will also consider private practice litigation lawyers with substantive experience related to such work
Academic Qualifications: Recognised LL.B, at least Second Class Honours
4. COST SPECIALIST – Based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
Position Summary
The operations cost and contracts planner is responsible for performing cost control services in support of Kebabangan (KBB) for all the Operational contracts. Functions includes budget forecasting, data base management, progress schedule against the ORP, trend analysis, variance analysis by holding face to face meeting with the contract holders.
Requirements
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Engineering
• Minimum of five years’ experience in finance or costing in the oil and gas industry
• Able to forecast cost trends based upon incomplete information and conflicting data.
• Produce reports that are tailored to the needs of the Contracts Holder, ORP, Operations Readiness Manager.
• This position is based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
5. EXECUTIVE, CONTRACT – Based in KLCC
Position Summary
Plan, coordinate and execute a cost-effective contracting and purchasing activities in terms of materials and services to support KPOC operations including development, drilling and production requirements to ensure the company business strategies and objectives are achieved while assure the adherence to PETRONAS & KPOC Tendering & Contracting procedures to protect & uphold company image as a prudent operator
Requirements
• Minimum Diploma holder in Technical, Science or Business Disciplines. Degree holder is preferred. Professional qualification in purchasing/supplies or contract management is an added advantage
• Minimum of 5 years in PSC environment within the oil and gas industry
• Good negotiation skills, to resolve all issues so as to ensure win-win benefits to all parties as well as to minimize interruption to the execution of the purchasing activities and implementation of the project.
• Able to manage ad-hoc & urgent operational requirements, shortcomings and contractual issues with no or minimum interruption to production plan and cost.
