Radio Operator Lead Supervisor
roles & responsibilities;
To supervise and perform the following task in accordance with the company operating procedures;
- To work in telecommunications operations providing efficient 24hours telecom services for onshore/offshore location, enhance cordial relationship with clients, government, vendors and company group of companies.
- To respond to emergency calls as per company emergency procedures.
- To maintain security and confidentiality of all fax & personnel entry in communication & computer centre (C&CC).
- To prepare and publish
company wide weekly duty roster in the ECC emergency response web site.
- To update management and oil spill coordinator schedule movement.
- To provide trunk call and paging services.
- To update telephone directory and basic information relevant to telecommunication operations.
- To print telmas trunk call billing and calling reports monthly as and when required by the company.
- To perform telmas daily, weekly and monthly back up of database.
- To perform electro data event recorder tape backp up as and when required.
- To support IT customer services and networking monitoring after office hours.
- To conduct daily functional tests on telecommunications equipment.
- To report to telecom operations team leader on all operations matters.
- To conduct daily functional tests of telephone tie lines.
- Maintain records of telecommunication operations and emergency log book.
- Provide general administrative supports such as data entry, recording and filling, statistic, phone billings etc as and when required by company site representative.
- To operate and administer personal computer Pc based communication equipment as required in the performance of he work or as may be required by the company from time to time.
- Adhere to company HSE policy and maintains awareness, knowledge and practice of safety rules and regulations.
- Be fully conversant with all international, national and company telecommunications operating procedures and regulations and be aware of all indications and alterations to and deletions from such procedures and regulations.
- Be willing to work extra hours when required.
- working in 8 hours shift rotation.
Qualification/Trade:
- At least SPM (sijil pelajaran malaysia) qualification or equivalent.
- Must have at least 5 years working experience.
- Min 5 years of working experience as telecom shift supervisor in oil & gas industry.
